Day 26: A childhood memory.
*ahem*
A childhood memory? Just any? How vague...
Just ANY memory?
Goodness gracious, but I have no idea what to write...
Well, here goes nothing.
A childhood memory...
When I was about four or five, I was obsessed with The Sound Of Music. When I was three, I knew the lyrics to every single song, and I thought Maria was the most wonderful mother there ever could be.
Anyways, My dad and I used to sing 'duets' all the time. We are the singers of the family, and my dad was always glad to sing along with me.
One day, my mom brought home a pink dress she picked up at some thrift store or other. I was thrilled! It looked just like Liesl's "I Am Sixteen" dress! (actually, it didn't...but I thought it did at the time)
I remember I spent a whole evening dancing around in that dress, singing I am Sixteen with my dad....My dad, of course, sang Rolf's part, and I sang Liesl's.
hahaha.
I know this is kind of dumb, but it's one of my favorite memories, and I couldn't think of anything else.
This isn't from the actual movie, (since I couldn't FIND it) but it's the song.

This, by the way, was a dress I had coveted for the longest time.
