It's Summer. Today, I am sure of it. It's sunny, delightfully warm, not a cloud in the sky and there is a warm breeze whispering through my hair and tickling my ears.

I'd love to post some pictures, but my camera is dead and I can't find the charger anywhere. How fantastic is that? The world is all perfect and set for a photoshoot, but my camera is dead.

Anyway, instead of dwelling on this atrocious inconvenience, I wanted to share a poem I wrote. It doesn't really have a title, but it was written with Summer in mind.

The sun shines warmly on my upturned face.
I smell the scent of flowers in the air.
I feel a breeze that gently blows my hair;
I close my eyes, and feel it’s cool embrace.

The grass is cool and damp beneath my feet.
It rained, and now the world is sparkling bright.
The storm is over, ended in the night;
The sun emerged, the air is fresh and sweet.
